Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Glyph Match: Hanzi Puzzle handles information when you use the iOS game.

Short version: the current version does not use ads, third-party analytics SDKs, developer-run accounts, tracking, or a developer-operated game server. Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you use Apple Game Center, Apple handles Game Center identity, leaderboards, and achievements.

Information stored on your device

The app stores gameplay data locally on your device so the game can work properly. This may include:

level progress and unlocked levels;
scores, stars, remaining moves, and completion records;
game settings such as sound preferences and selected language.

This local data is used for app functionality and is not uploaded to a developer-operated server in the current version.

Apple Game Center

If you sign in to Apple Game Center, the app may submit leaderboard scores, total stars, completed level counts, and achievement progress through Apple's GameKit services. Game Center login, player identity, leaderboards, and achievements are provided and processed by Apple.

You can manage Game Center and related privacy options in iOS Settings. You can still play the game without signing in to Game Center, although leaderboards and achievements may be unavailable.

Sharing

After completing a level, you may choose to share a result card through the iOS system share sheet. The share destination is selected by you and may be provided by Apple or by another app installed on your device. The result card is only shared when you actively choose to share it.

Information we do not collect

In the current version, the app does not:

track you across apps or websites;
use the advertising identifier for targeted advertising;
collect precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health, or financial data;
sell personal information;
upload local game progress to a developer-operated server.

Children's privacy

The game is designed as a general puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated server. If you believe personal information has been handled incorrectly, please contact us through the support page.

Data retention and deletion

Local progress remains on your device until you delete the app or erase the device data. Game Center records are managed by Apple and your Apple ID settings.

Changes to this policy

If a future version adds ads, analytics, crash reporting, accounts, purchases, cloud sync, or other services that change data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

International notes

The app supports English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese in the app interface. This English Privacy Policy is the primary public policy for App Store release. Informational summaries may be provided in other languages, but the English version controls when wording differs.
